Athens hosts ETU`s board meeting
Baku, February 23 (AzerTAc). A meeting of the European Taekwondo Union`s (ETU) Board has been held in Athens, Greece.
Senior Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation, vice-president of the ETU Fuzuli Musayev was present at the event.
On the meeting, the ETU ExCo voted over the hosting city for the European Taekwondo Senior Championships 2012.
On the election of President of the European Taekwondo Union, Fuzuli Musayev told AzerTAc that Atanasios Pragalos who has served for 12 years as ETU President and President of the Turkish Taekwondo Federation Metin Shahin are frontrunners for the post.
Candidate countries were Great Britain, Ukraine and Turkey. The next ETU Taekwondo Senior Championships will be held in May 2012 in Manchester, Great Britain.
