US Chamber of Commerce holds monthly meeting in Baku
Baku, February 25 (AzerTAc). The US Chamber of Commerce has held its monthly meeting which brought together representatives of American and Azerbaijani companies based in Baku.
The United States` new ambassador Matthew Bryza said Washington was keeping a close eye on cooperation with private companies.
In a talk with journalists, Bryza touched upon the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He said everybody knew that peaceful settlement of the conflict was number one priority in the region.
Bryza noted the settlement of the conflict would bring peace and stability both to people of Azerbaijan and other peoples of the region.
The ambassador also noted a forthcoming visit to Baku of the US Deputy Secretary of State, James Steinberg, saying he will discuss the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict during his stay in the Azerbaijani capital.
