KUWAIT, Feb 25 (KUNA) -- Canada Governor General David Johnston and the delegation accompanying him arrived here Friday to participate in Kuwait's national celebrations.
The President will be participating in Kuwait's 50th Anniversary of Independence, the 20th Liberation Day, and the Fifth year of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's rule.
The official was received at Kuwait International Airport by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Speaker of the National Assembly Jassem Al-Kharafi, Deputy Chief of the Kuwait National Guard (KNG) Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Ja ber Al-Sabah First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Ahmad Al-Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Mninister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Minister of State for Development, Minister of State for Housing Affairs Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Minister of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Roudhan Al-Roudhan, Head of His Highness the Amir's office Sheikh Khaled Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, and senior officials of the Army, Police, and KNG.
The honorary delegation for the Canadian official will be headed by Advisor at the Amiri Diwan Dr. Yousif Hamad Al-Ibrahim.
