Film on life story of Khojaly refugee screened in Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy

Baku, February 26 (AzerTAc). A presentation of film “Refugee: The Life Story of Anar Usubov” by Turkish producer Cem Oguz was screened in Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy.
Film`s hero, witness of the Khojaly massacre Anar Usubov participated in the presentation.
Film narrates the life story of 8-year-old boy during the Khojaly massacre. The film was shot in Western style and had been nominated for awards in numerous festivals of documentaries. The film has two versions: in Azerbaijani and English. Presentation of the film in the US was held in Avalon Historical Theatre.
Speakers at the event spotlighted the Khojaly genocide as outrageous crime committed against Azerbaijanis and this massacre will never be forgotten. It was also stated the importance of bringing to the world community the truth about the Khojaly genocide and the policy of ethnic cleansing pursued by the Armenians against the local population of Nagorno-Karabakh.
Later, teachers and students visited the monument to Khojaly.
