Five militants detained in Hadramout

have detained five suspected al-Tawhid battalions militants in the district of al-Qaten, west of Sayoon city, security sources in theprovince have said.

The newsyemen.net quoted the sources as saying the militants surrendered after one of them exchanged fire with the security forces but they could not hold on. Their names and identities havenot yet been released.

The arrests came few weeks after the security forces in Hadramout raided two al-Qaeda cells to arrest some of their members and killothers.
