Azerbaijan`s President receives President of Niro Investment Group company

Baku, January 28 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev received Monday President of the Niro Investment Group Company, Nicolae Dumitru and his accompanying delegation.
Dumitru expressed satisfaction with the opportunity, as a member of the delegation of “The Balkans and Europe” magazine”, to present the “President Ilham Aliyev-Person of the year 2010” award to the Azerbaijani leader.
He said the magazine`s jury, consisting of academicians, scientists, journalists and lawyers, unanimously decided to give the award to President Ilham Aliyev for the great accomplishments achieved in Azerbaijan despite the global financial crisis.
Dumitru expressed confidence that Romania-Azerbaijan strategic partnership and friendly relations between the two countries` peoples would further develop. Then, he presented the “Person of the year 2010” award to President Ilham Aliyev.
The Azerbaijani President thanked for the “Person of the Year 2010” award. The Head of State assessed the decision of “The Balkans and Europe” magazine as indicator of relations between the two countries.
President Ilham Aliyev said relations between Azerbaijan and Romania were developing successfully in various spheres. The Head of State added bilateral relationship covers a variety of spheres, including political, economic and humanitarian ones.
President Ilham Aliyev underscored the importance of high-level reciprocal visits in development of bilateral ties.
The Head of State noted Romania was one of the closest friendly countries for Azerbaijan.
President Ilham Aliyev underlined the importance of various documents signed between the two countries, particularly the Agreement on strategic partnership.
