President Ilham Aliyev offers condolences to Turkish counterpart
Baku, February 28 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolence to Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul.
The letter says “I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing away of Turkey`s prominent public-political figure, Necmettin Erbakan.
Necmettin Erbakan made invaluable contributions to strengthening and development of Azerbaijan-Turkish friendship and brotherhood and, thus, earned great reverence and reputation in our country.
On behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I would like to express my deepest condolences to You, family and friends of the deceased, and to the people of Turkey over this heavy loss.”
