Pres. Ahmadinejad, Sultan Qaboos discuss regional developments
Tehran, March 2, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Sultan Qaboos of Oman, in a telephone conversation, discussed the most important regional issues and called for expansion of bilateral and regional cooperation.
According to the report of Presidential Office website on Tuesday, President Ahmadinejad, referring to the regional developments, told Sultan Qaboos that common sense, wisdom and adoption of appropriate approaches can turn issues in favor of nations and governments.
The president also called for expansion of ties adding that it is beneficial for both nations and the whole region.
Sultan Qaboos, by expounding on the latest regional developments, underlined necessity of increasing cooperation and consultation between the two countries./end
