Investments in Azerbaijan`s economy come to $15.5 billion last year, President Ilham Aliyev

Baku, March 2 (AzerTAc). A process of making investments in Azerbaijan`s economy continues successfully. Investments in the country`s economy made up $15.5 billion in 2010 alone and it was a big figure, President Ilham Aliyev told a conference on outcomes of the second year of implementation of the “State Program on social and economic development of regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2009-2013”.
President Ilham Aliyev said the influx of investments into the Azerbaijan`s economy will continue this year.
The Head of State underlined Azerbaijan had made a considerable progress in protection of foreign investments.
