"Kuwait in Our Hearts" reflects the depth of Kuwait-UAE ties
KUWAIT, March 3 (KUNA) -- Sharjah's Supreme Council of Family Affairs, in collaboration with the embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Kuwait, held Wednesday evening a seminar under the slogan of "Kuwait in Our Hearts" that reflected the deep-rooted relations between Kuwait and the UAE in all domains.
Head of Media Affairs at the embassy Majidah Al-Rashid said in an opening speech that UAE's participation in Kuwait's national celebrations not only reflected the strong brotherly ties but also expressed the genuine feelings of the two countries' leaderships and people.
She noted that Sharjah's governor Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al-Qasami holds gratitude and appreciation to the state of Kuwait which can be strongly detected in his publication of a memorandum on Kuwait's hi story.
Kuwaiti-UAE relations resemble an exceptional model for brotherly cooperation, which should be followed, under the directions of the two countries leaderships, she added.
In a worksheet entitled "Kuwait in the thoughts of the Governor of Sharjah", Dean of Students Affairs at UAE University Miriam Baishik said that the connection between Kuwait and Sharjah Governor is a sentimental and national one.
Adding that Kuwait forms a great part of the Al-Qasami which can be seen in his documentations of the history of Kuwait and the impact of this neigbouring country on the cultural, intellectual and artistic arena's in Sharjah. Exhibitions of Sheikh Al-Qasami's publications, UAE women's Literature as well as exhibition of children's paintings were held before the opening of the seminar.
