Book "Conceptual basis for rehabilitation of the post-conflict territories of Azerbaijan” launched in London.
Baku, March 4 (AzerTAc). The book “Conceptual basis for rehabilitation of the post-conflict territories of Azerbaijan” has been launched at United Kingdom`s House of Lords in London.
The authors of the book are editor-in-chief of the Caucasus and Globalization magazine Nazim Muzaffarli and head of the Institute of Strategic Studies of the Caucasus Eldar Ismayilov.
The book is written in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages.
The launch ceremony was attended by British MPs, representatives of the diplomatic corps, experts of leading international research centers and students.
The book highlights the issue of rehabilitation of physical and institutional infrastructure after settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The book is written based on the World Bank`s experience in rehabilitating post-conflict regions throughout the world.
Speaking to the launch ceremony, Lord Waverley praised the Britain Azerbaijan Business Council and International Bank of Azerbaijan for their contribution to producing the book.
Other speakers included Azeri ambassador in London Fakhraddin Gurbanov and chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Bank of Azerbaijan Jahangir Hajiyev.
The launch ceremony also featured discussions with participation of the book`s authors and Frederick Starr, editor of the book`s English version.
