US congresswoman brings up Khojaly issue
Baku, March 4 (AzerTAc). US Representative of North Carolina Sue Myrick has raised at the US congress an issue related to recognition of the Khojaly massacre, which occurred 19 years ago.
Addressing to Speaker of the House of Representatives she said hundreds of innocent people had been killed on February 25-26, 1992 in the Khojaly massacre. She called on to share sorrow of Azerbaijanis.
Myrick underlined Azerbaijan is an important ally in the Middle East.
