Azerbaijan`s economic modernization to be discussed in Washington
Baku, March 9 (AzerTAc). Washington will host a meeting titled “Azerbaijan`s economic modernization and post-crisis situation” next week to be attended by an Azerbaijani delegation.
The event will take place at the Center for Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies of the Georgetown University.
Elman Rustamov, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, will share his views on preserving natural resources for current and future generations. US officials and analysts on Azerbaijan, as well as students are expected to deliver speeches.
The Azerbaijani days will be arranged at the World Bank Group’s Washington headquarters. The Azerbaijani delegation will hold meetings with the management of the World Bank and International Financial Corporation. Presentations on Azerbaijan, exhibitions of carpets, musical and national cuisine will be held during the event.
