Baku marks 125th jubilee of great Tatar poet
Baku, March 9 (AzerTAc). A scientific session dedicated to the 125 anniversary of prominent Tatar poet and publicist Gabdulla Tukay was held at the Literature Institute of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).
Opening the ceremony, director of the Institute, academician Bakir Nabiyev briefed literary critics about Gabdulla Tukay`s life and creative activity.
Doctor of Philosophy in Philology Manzar Hasanova made a report “Gabdulla Tukay in Azerbaijan`s literary criticism” in the session.
