Albania ‘interested’ in expanding economic and trade relations with Albania

Baku, March 11 (AzerTAc). Albania`s deputy prime minister and foreign minister Edmond Hakhinasto said his country was interested in expanding the economic and trade relations with Azerbaijan.
Hakhinasto met with Azeri parliament speaker Ogtay Asadov in Baku.
He praised Azerbaijan`s economic achievements.
Hakhinasto said he had meetings with President Ilham Aliyev and Azerbaijan`s Premier and FM, adding “such meetings mark new pages in our relations”.
Asadov expressed confidence the Albanian deputy PM`s visit would contribute to developing and expanding the bilateral ties.
The speaker praised the two presidents` role in deepening the Azerbaijan-Albania cooperation.
Asadov recalled his meeting with Albanian counterpart who visited Baku last year.
The speaker touched upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, saying it impedes Azerbaijan`s development.
Asadov said Azerbaijan wanted the conflict to be peacefully solved based on the principle of his country`s territorial integrity.
