OIC model project starts in Azerbaijan

Baku, March 11 (AzerTAc). The Eurasia Regional Center of the Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation (ICYFDC) is planning to start an “OIC model” project in Azerbaijan.
The project is supported by Azerbaijan Ministry of Youth and Sport and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy and Baku State University.
A two-year OIC Model project will inform Azerbaijani and foreign students studying in the country about Azerbaijan`s fair stance on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The project is also planning to organize discussions on practical issues within the "Justice for Khojaly" campaign started on the initiative of the ICYF General Coordinator for Cross-Cultural Dialogue Leyla Aliyeva.
Youth from leading OIC countries will establish working groups to discuss topical problems of international relations, particularly international problems, which exist in the OIC area, including Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and will make concrete proposals for solution of these problems in the first phase of the project.
The OIC youth will hear lectures of ambassadors, embassy employees accredited in Baku, leading experts of different international and local organizations. Winners will be awarded and qualified for international OIC Model competition in Istanbul, June, 2011.
