Khorasan exports dlrs430m value of trade to Herat
Mashad, Khorasan Razavi Prov., March 13, IRNA, Governor General of Khorasan Razavi province Mahmoud Salahi , in meeting with Governor of Herat Davood Shah Saba in Mashad expressed satisfaction with the level of trade between the two provinces.
In meeting with Shah Saba and his accompanying delegation on Saturday night, Salahi said the amount of Khorasan export to Herat has reached 430 million dollars per year and the trade between the Iran and Afghanistan is increasing.
Salahi added Iran is a good market for Afghan livestock, dry fruits and summer crops.
Referring to hosting over 3 million Afghan refugees by Iran, Salahi said, 'We are proud that despite war and other problems, we could help our Afghan brothers when they needed our help.'
Davood Shah Saba, for his part, said Iran spared no efforts in helping Afghanistan by accepting Afghan refugees and this is highly appreciated by the people and government of Afghanistan./end
