Swiss President Micheline Calmy-Rey officially welcomed to Azerbaijan
Baku, March 14 (AzerTAc). President of the Swiss Confederation Micheline Calmy-Rey today has been given an official welcome to Azerbaijan.
A guard of honor was lined up for the Swiss President at the square decorated with the national flags of the two countries.
President of Switzerland Micheline Calmy-Rey was welcomed by Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev.
The national anthems of Azerbaijan and Switzerland were performed.
The two Presidents inspected a ceremonial Guard of Honor.
Azerbaijani state and government officials were introduced to Mrs. Micheline Calmy-Rey, while members of the Swiss delegation to President Ilham Aliyev.
The Presidents then posed for photographs.
