Azeri chess players to compete at European Championship
Baku, March 15 (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijan`s chess team will compete in the 12th European Individual Chess Championship held Aix-les-Bains, France on 21 March- 3 April.
The championship will bring together 400 chess players.
The participants will include Gadir Huseynov, Rauf Mammadov, Nijat Mammadov, Rufat Bagirov, Namig Guliyev, Vasif Durarbayli, Nijat Abbasov, Kanan Izzat and Eltaj Safarli.
The prize fund of the 12th European Championship is 113700 euros.
The championship will bring together 400 chess players.
