Azerbaijan to be represented in Turkey Novruz celebrations

Baku, March 16 (AzerTAc). Turkey`s Aydin province will host International Novruz festivities on 20-23 March.

Municipality official Haluk Al?c?k provided information on the event. He said that Novruz is the most ancient holiday celebrated by all Turkic Speaking Peoples.

Alicik noted that Novruz Holiday had been included into the UNESCO`s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, stressing the importance of festival.

Azerbaijani, Belarusian, Georgian, Iranian, Kazakh national dance bands will perform in the event, Aydinli official said.
