Israel, Azerbaijan discuss creation of business incubators
Baku, March 18 (AzerTAc). Advisor of Israel`s Wazana Group Ltd company doctor Yuri Yakub has visited the Institute of Information Technologies (IIT) of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) where he met director of the institute Rasim Aliguliyev to discuss establishment of business incubators and technoparks.
Yuri Yakub stressed Wazana Group`s readiness to enhance cooperation, exchange experiences in science, and establish in Azerbaijan business incubators for production of ICT products and services. He stressed the Company had 20-year experience in strategic business development, management, marketing, investments and budget growth, international communications and strategic marketing.
In his turn, Mr. Aliguliyev informed the Israeli advisor on the measures taken by Azerbaijan Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies to foster regional innovation zones, increase the share of the ICT sector in the economy, create an alternative to the oil sector and raise country`s export potential.
The discussions focused on the need to develop mechanisms to reduce the time to introduce new scientific solutions in manufacture, create technology parks and incubators which will ensure country`s growing into a leading exporter of ICT products in the region, attract potential investors in the ICT market, and create electronic equipment production, etc.
