Hashimov ranks 3rd at Amber tournament
Baku, March 26 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani grandmaster Vugar Hashimov has finished 3rd in the blindfold and rapid chess event in the Amber tournament in Monte-Carlo.
Hashimov secured the spot after drawing with Russia`s Alexandr Grischuk in the 11th round.
Armenia`s Levon Aronian topped the overall table, followed by Norway`s Magnus Carlsen and Indian Viswanathan Anand.
