‘Armenia must return occupied territories of Azerbaijan’

Baku, Mart 28 (AzerTAc). Armenia must return the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, Chairman of Korean National Assembly`s Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs Committee Song Kwang-ho said Monday at a meeting with Vice-Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Milli Majlis Ziyafat Asgarov.
Kwang-ho spoke of national leader Heydar Aliyev`s contributions to the development of Azerbaijan. He noted Azerbaijan was an interesting country for Korea. Kwang-ho also highly appreciated the Azerbaijani people`s hospitality.
Asgarov, in turn, said cooperation between Azerbaijan and Korea was developing rapidly in various spheres. He also praised relations between the two countries` parliaments.
Asgarov underscored the role of the two countries` leaders in expansion of bilateral relationship. He added documents signed during reciprocal visits had created solid legal basis for comprehensive development of bilateral cooperation.
The Vice-Speaker also pointed out Milli Majlis Speaker Ogtay Asadov`s visit to Korea in 2007 gave an impetus to ties between the two countries` legislative bodies.
He also briefed Kwang-ho on the consequences of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
