IFC to improve DemirBank`s corporate governance practices
Baku, March 29 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Demirbank and International Finance Corporation have sealed an agreement on improvement of corporate governance practices.
The IFC will assess the level of Dermibank`s corporate governance and undertake measures to bring it in line with world`s best practices. IFC will provide general corporate governance consulting on issues of Supervisory and Management Board functions, shareholders rights protection, transparency and disclosure.
IFC will help the bank to improve documentation, functions of internal control and internal audit publish financial reports,.
The document concerning consulting services is the second one concluded between the two structures.
