Baku hosts Uzbek carpet masters` exhibition
Baku, March 30 (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijan State Museum of Carpet and Folk Applied Arts after Latif Karimov of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism opened an exhibition “Uzbek artistic handicraft: traditions and Contemporaneity” and presentation of Azerbaijani Carpet Weavers Public Union on Tuesday.
The exhibition was co-organized by Azerbaijani Carpet Weavers` Public Union, Uzbek Culture and Art Foundation Forum and “Meros” Association of Antiques.
The exhibition featured embroidery by laureate of international exhibitions and competitions Madina Gasimbayova, wood-engravings by Husan Musajanov, miniatures by Shoransul Shoahmadov, dolls decorated in national style, photos of “Art etudes…” and video clip on Uzbek art masters.
The exhibition will last till Friday.
