US, Azerbaijan relations discussed in Maryland University
Washington, March 30 (AzerTAc). A roundtable meeting on US-Azerbaijani relations took place in US`s Maryland University on Tuesday.
The event was organized by Azerbaijan Culture Group and Karabakh Foundation.
Azeri MPs Asim Mollazade, Rasim Musabayov and Jeyhun Osmanli, Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University, Rovshan Ibrahimov, head of Department of International Relations of the Caucasus University, official of the State Committee for work with Diaspora, Cavanshir Valiyev and AzerTAc`s special correspondent in the USA Shafag Mehraliyeva discussed Azerbaijan-US relations in various spheres.
The sides noted US`s active role in the peace talks on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
At the same time, educational and cultural relations between two countries and cooperation prospects were discussed in the meeting.
