Tashkent to host exhibition of carpets featuring Tahir Salahov`s works
Baku, March 31 (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijan State Museum of Carpet and Folk Applied Arts after Latif Karimov of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism opened an exhibition “Uzbek artistic handicraft: traditions and contemporaneity”.
According to the State Museum, it is important to arrange various culture events for expanding mutual cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
As a part of such events an exhibition of carpets featuring Tahir Salahov`s works and works by other Azeri art masters will be arranged in Tashkent At the same time, Baku will host the exhibition of paintings by Akmal Nur, the Peoples Artist of Uzbekistan.
