Azeri free-style wrestlers rank 2nd in medal table of European championship
Baku (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijan national free-style wrestling team have ranked second in the medal table of the European championship in Dortmund, Germany.
Azeri wrestlers brought home 5 medals, including 2 golds.
Gold medals came from Khetag Gazyumov weighing in at 96 kg and Jabrayil Hasanov at 66 kg.
Other Azeri wrestlers Mahmud Magomedov, Sharif Sharifov and Jamaladdin Magomedov won bronze medals in the 55 kg, 84 kg and 120 kg categories respectively.
Russian wrestlers topped the table, while Turkey finished third.
