Baku (AzerTAc) - “Azerbaijan is interested in developing cooperation with Bulgaria not only in the energy sector, but also in agriculture, education and healthcare, where Bulgaria has substantial experience,” Azerbaijan`s Ambassador in Sofia Emil Karimov told journalists.
According to him, Bulgaria has the potential to attract many Azeri investors in the future.
The oncoming fourth session of the Bulgarian-Azeri governmental committee for economic cooperation, which will take place in Baku later this year, will contribute to the development of the bilateral relations between the two countries.
“Cultural cooperation is also very important for the relations between our two countries,” Ambassador Karimov said further.
“A world forum for an intercultural dialogue will take place in Baku in April 7-9 under the auspices of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev,” he added.
World leaders, intellectuals and public figures will take part in the forum, at which Bulgaria will be represented by a delegation led by Culture Minister Vezhdi Rashidov.
