Belgium protests against murder of Azerbaijani child by Armenian sniper
Baku, April 1 (AzerTAc). A protest rally initiated by the Azerbaijan- Belgium Friendship Society has been held in Brussels against the killing of 9-year-old Fariz Badalov by an Armenian sniper.
The participants increased the European community`s awareness on the Armenian brutality against Azerbaijanis, including occupation of Azerbaijani lands and killing of Azerbaijani civilians as a result of regular violation of ceasefire since 1994.
The 9-year-old resident of the Orta Garvand village in the Agdam region was killed on March 8 as a result of a ceasefire violation by an Armenian troop. Badalov was shot in head while playing in his yard. He was taken to hospital but doctors failed to save his life.
Participants also demanded to give political and legal assessment to the 31 March-Day of genocide of Azerbaijanis at international level.
