Baku to host International Gara Garayev Modern Music Festival
Baku (AzerTAc) - The fourth International Gara Garayev Modern Music Festival will be held in Baku on April 2-8.
The organizer of the event is Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Today organizers of the festival held a press conference for the preparatory works of the festival.
It was noted the program of the event includes engaging concerts and conferences.
As stated, music groups from 10 countries would perform at the festival.
A solemn opening ceremony will take place at the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall named after Muslim Magomayev.
Participants of the conference viewed documents reflecting genius composer Gara Garayev`s lifetime and activity.
