Kuwaiti FM to partake IRENA General Assembly in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, April 4 (KUNA) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah is heading Kuwait's delegation to the first session of the International Renewable Energy Agency's (IRENA) General Assembly to be held here.
Sheikh Mohammad, who arrived here from Riyadh after the conclusion of the GCC Foreign Ministers urgent meeting yesterday, will attend the IRENA Assembly that will be allocated to discussions on increasing the dependence on renewable sources in development.
The meeting will witness the participation of 150 states' representatives. A number of 148 states had signed IRENA's general statute. (end) bmg.gta KUNA 041114 Apr 11NNNN
