Azerbaijan and Greece boost sea transport cooperation
Baku, April 6 (AzerTAc). Chief of Azerbaijan State Maritime Administration Gudrat Gurbanov met with Greek minister of Maritime Affairs, Islands and Fishing Ioannis Diamantidis.
Mr. Gurbanov updated the guest on achievements in the sea transport, large-scale projects and cooperation with Greece within the International Maritime Organization (IMO). He said the agreement on sea transport signed in Baku as a part of Greek President`s official visit to Azerbaijan will strengthen relations among the two countries` companies engaged in shipping and sea transport.
Mr. Diamantidis said his country keens on cooperation with Azerbaijan in the sea transport. He hailed the construction of Baku International Sea Trade Port.
