MAXIMUM PRECIPITATION REGISTERED IN SUKHBAATAR SOUM
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ According to Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, a maximum precipitation was registered in Sukhbaatar soum (50.0 mm) of Selenge aimag in April, 2011.
In April, Omnogovi soum of Uvs aimag and Shinejinst soum of Bayankhongor aimag had the highest air temperature (+28°C), while Otgon soum of Zavkhan aimag had the lowest one (-26°C). Wind speed reached 40 m/sec in Bulgan soum of Omnogovi aimag.
Daily average concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded 20 times around West crossroad of Ulaanbaatar city, 13 times around first and 13th micro districts, 10 times around 32nd Toirog, six times around Kharkhorin market, amd one around the Offitseruudiin ordon; daily average concentration of sulphur dioxide exceeded 26 times around 32nd Toirog, 13 times around West crossroad, 12 times around 1st micro district, 10 times Kharkhorin market, and 7 times around Offitseruudiin ordon and 13th micro district.
Particulate matter less than 10 micrograms exceeded 27 times around 32nd Toirog, 25 times around Kharkhorin market, 19 times around West crossroad, and 11 times around 13th micro district; particulate matter less than 2.5 micrograms exceeded 10 times around West crossroad and 8 times around 13th micro district from the maximum allowable concentration of air quality standard in April, 2011.
