Azerbaijan Embassy in Hungary holds presentation of books
Budapest, June 17 (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijan Embassy in Hungary has presented here the books books titled “Let's speak Azerbaijani. The country and its language” (Kamal Abdulla and Maria Keneshi), “Azerbaijan” (Borbala Obrusanszky) and “The Azerbaijani-Hungarian Phrasebook” (Maria Keneshi).
Addressing the ceremony, Azerbaijan ambassador to Hungary Vilayat Guliyev said that popularization of the country`s language, history and culture is the main duty of the diplomatic mission aboard.
Rector of Baku Slavic University (BSU), member of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), prof. Kamal Abdulla, ELTE Budapest University`s professor Mary Keneshi, editor of Journal of Eurasian Studies Borbala Obrusanszky provided information on their books.
Academician of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Professor George Khazai and chairwoman of Azerbaijan-Hungary Friendship Society Svetlana Abdullayeva made speeches on the importance of the books.
The presentation ceremony brought together employees of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, teaching staff of Corvinus and ELTE universities, representatives of diplomatic corps and mass media.
