Conference on Diaspora-related activity of Azeri youth kicks off in Baku
Baku, June 17 (AzerTAc). A conference entitled “Strengthening of international activities of Azerbaijani students studying abroad and Diaspora organizations to restore Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity” has today started here.
The conference is held with financial support of Azerbaijan – American Youth Public Union and the Council for State Support to NGOs under the President of Azerbaijan Republic.
The aim of the conference is to present the results of a competition among the Azerbaijani students living abroad to study the Armenian Diaspora`s activity and introduce the public to the research works done in this direction.
Opening the ceremony, chairman of Azerbaijan – American Youth Public Union and head of the project Vugar Ahmadov provided information on Armenian propaganda and necessity of the project.
Doctorate of Switzerland `s Zurich University Elkhan Hasanli and others made speeches in the conference. The speakers informed participants on world Armenian Diasporas and its centers, financial aids for Armenian students living abroad, methods of activity implemented by Armenian Diaspora and others issues.
