Azerbaijani ambassador meets Bulgaria`s speaker

Baku, June 21 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani ambassador to Bulgaria Emil Karimov has met with chairwoman of country`s National Assembly Tsetska Tsacheva.
The Azeri diplomat briefed the Bulgarian official on the Azerbaijan`s socio-economic development, energy policy, reforms, as well as Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Karimov said his country is interested in cooperation with Bulgaria particularly in the energy sector. He stressed great potential exist for boosting ties in education, culture, tourism, agriculture, light industry and other spheres.
The Ambassador spoke of parliaments’ role in bilateral relations, provided information about friendship group in Azerbaijani parliament and underlined the importance of reciprocal visits, exchange of experience. He invited Tsacheva to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan.
Tsacheva, in turn, noted Azerbaijan is an important country for the region. Bulgaria is interested in participating in the projects towards European energy security, she added.
Official of the Bulgarian National Assembly spoke of her country`s tourism, agriculture, light industry spheres, noting importance of cooperation in relevant fields.
