Azerbaijan and Georgia enjoy `good` level of cultural cooperation
Baku, June 22 (AzerTAc). A visit of Georgia`s minister of culture and monuments protection Nikoloz Rurua to Azerbaijan is an evidence of `good` cultural cooperation between the two countries, Azerbaijan`s minister of culture and tourism Abulfaz Garayev told journalists.
The cultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia was upgraded the level of `strategic` partnership, the Azeri Minister added.
Garayev noted important work is being done to ensure cultural rights of Azerbaijanis living in Georgia and Georgians in Azerbaijan. The parties agreed to specify a list of historical monuments belonging to both sides and discuss protection of monuments, he added.
The Azeri Minister also highlighted the importance of popularization of culture for boosting ties between the two nations.
