4th Congress of Turkic mathematical society starts in Baku

Baku, July 1 (AzerTAc). The 4th Congress of the Turkic World Mathematical Society (TWMS) organized by the Azerbaijan`s Education Ministry, National Academy of Sciences and Scientific Research Institute of Applied Mathematics of the Baku State University has today kicked off in Azerbaijan`s capital.
In the opening remarks Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov said the aim of the Congress is to provide a forum where scientists and mathematicians from academia and industry can meet to share ideas of latest research work in all branches of pure and applied mathematics, to support worldwide popularization of Turkish scientists as well.
The Congress sessions include topics on “Algebra and Mathematical Logic”, “Geometry and Topology”, “Function Theory and Functional Analysis”, “Partial and Ordinary Differential Equation”, “Probability Theory, Mathematical Statistics and Fuzzy Systems”, “Computational Mathematics”, “Control Theory and Optimization”, “Theoretical Bases of Information Technologies” and others.
The event has brought together scientists form 20 country.
