Construction of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway discussed in Baku
Baku, July 2 (AzerTAc). The Coordinating Council for restoration, reconstruction and construction of the Marabda railway as part of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway project held its 11th session in Azerbaijan`s capital.
The construction of the railway in the Georgian section was discussed in the session. Participants debated estimate results for construction of the Akhalkalaki-Karstakhi railway presented by the Azerinshaatservice.
Following the session Azerbaijani Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov and Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Ramaz Nikolaishvili signed an agreement on the work plan.
