Azerbaijan Boxing Federation`s president meets European Championship medalists
Baku, July 4 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Boxing Federation Kamaladdin Heydarov held a meeting with sportsmen who succeeded in the European Championship in Ankara, Turkey.
According to ABF, Heydarov highlighted Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev`s special attention to sport and the Olympic Movement, stressing the progress achieved in all spheres as the result of it.
Heydarov said the boxers represented Azerbaijan successfully in the Championship.
Vice-president of ABF Suleyman Mikayilov thanked Heydarov for the attention to boxers.
Money prizes were presented to winners of the European Championship Salman Alizade, Teymur Mammadov and others.
