Participants of 3rd Congress of World Azerbaijanis pay respect to national leader Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijani martyrs
Baku, July 5 (AzerTAc). Participants of the 3rd Congress of World Azerbaijanis have today visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the tomb of Azerbaijan`s national leader Heydar Aliyev.
They also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
Then, they visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country`s independence and territorial integrity.
The congress participants laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
They also visited a monument to Turkish soldiers.
