Bus plunge kills 22, injures 24
Jammu, Sep 13 (PTI) Twenty-two people were killed and 24
injured when a bus plunged into a deep gorge in north Indian
state Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban district this afternoon.
The bus, on its way from Ramban to Banihal, skidded off
the road and fell into 400-ft Neel-Khooni Nallha, 180-km from
here, on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway, police said.
Twenty-two passengers were killed and 24 injured, 12 of
them critically, in the accident, they said.
The seriously injured were airlifted to Jammu city and
admitted to GMC hospital for treatment.
