Blair meets Khurshid, discusses minority welfare schemes

New Delhi, Sep 27 (PTI) Former British Prime Minister
Tony Blair Tuesday met Indian Minority Affairs Minister Salman
Khurshid here and is understood to have discussed the
initiatives and schemes being undertaken in India for minority
communities.
The meeting was organised at the initiative of the Tony
Blair Faith Foundation.
After the more than half-an-hour-long meeting, Blair told
reporters that the Foundation is "very active" in India and is
already running 94 schools here and the number will go up in
future.
Minority Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid welcomed Blair
and said he looked "very charming" even in the post prime
ministerial phase.
