KFH MALAYSIA BAGS MOST OUTSTANDING ISLAMIC CONSUMER PRODUCT AWARD
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 5 (Bernama) -- Kuwait Finance House (Malaysia) Bhd (KFH
Malaysia), the first foreign Islamic Bank in Malaysia, bagged the "Most
Outstanding Islamic Consumer Product" award for its KFH Gold Account-i at the
Kuala Lumpur Islamic Finance Forum (KLIFF) Awards 2011.
The KLIFF awards honour and recognise significant efforts by individuals and
institutions in the Islamic finance industry.
KFH Malaysia chief executive officer Jamelah Jamaluddin said they are
delighted to be acknowledged for their contribution to Islamic finance
development in the country.
"Our innovative product, KFH Gold Account-i, allows customers to invest in
gold in a convenient and secure way without having to keep the gold physically,"
she said in a statement on Wednesday.
To date, there are more than 3,000 account holders, contributing to well
over 700 kilogrammes of gold sold.
