Lower House Speaker Receives Courtesy Call From Hungarian Minister

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 8 (Bernama) -- The Foreign Minister of Hungary, Dr Janos Martonyi on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on Lower House of Parliament Speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia at his office at Parliament House, here. Dr Martonyi, together with five delegation members, including Hungary Ambassador designate to Malaysia, based in Jakarta, Indonesia Szilveszter Bus had a 30-minute meeting with Pandikar Amin. The issues discussed included the Parliamentary system and the judiciary in Malaysia and Hungary, as well as various matters aimed at forging closer relations between the two countries. Martonyi, who arrived here Monday for a two-day visit, is scheduled to depart for Singapore Tuesday afternoon after a meeting with his counterpart, Anifah Aman. --BERNAMA
