Prime Minister Departs Home From Saudi Arabia

From Abdul Aziz Harun JEDDAH, Nov 9 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Najib Razak and his delegation left Saudi Arabia for home early this morning. The aircraft ferrying Najib, his wife Rosmah Mansor and the delegation took off from the Royal Pavillion of the King Abdul Aziz International Airport, here, at about 1am (6am Malaysian time). Those who were at the airport to bid them farewell included the Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, Dr Abdulaziz Al Khedheiri, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Jamil Khir Baharom, Malaysian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Prof Syed Omar Al-Saggaf, Malaysian Consul General in Jeddah Mohd Khalid Abdul Razak and several top officials of the Pilgrims Fund Board (Tabung Haji). Najib and his delegation, who included his mother, Rahah Mohamad Noah, his younger brother Mohamed Nazim and northern state of Perak Chief Minister Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, arrived in Saudi Arabia on Oct 31 for the haj pilgrimage. Last Wednesday, Najib and Rosmah spent some time to visit the Tabung Haji headquarters at the Abraj Al Janadiriah hotel building, here and chatted with the Malaysian pilgrims who were staying at the hotel. On Monday, Najib and several other Muslim leaders who were at the Holy Land for the haj pilgrimage, were feted by the Saudi Arabian Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, Crown Prince Naif Abdul Aziz. -- BERNAMA Malaysia
