Malaysian PM, DPM Introduced To All New NST

PUTRAJAYA, Nov 11 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Tun Razak and Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin were introduced to the all-new New Straits Times (NST) Friday at the Perdana Putra Building. They were briefed about changes to the English language daily by NST Group Editor Syed Nadzri Syed Harun, Media Prima Berhad News and Editorial Operations Executive Director Ahmad A. Talib, NSTP Group Managing Editor Abdul Jalil Hamid, NSTP Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director Anthony Firdauz Bujang and NSTP Chief Operating Officer Mohammad Azlan Abdullah. The redesigned newspaper, which hit the stand starting today, comes with a new masthead and content format, and features three-dimensional pictures and advertisements. Najib congratulated the NST for the rebranding exercise. "I am confident that the NST will receive positive response from the public," he said. -- BERNAMA
