MAS OFFERS TEMPTING FARES TO EUROPE, NORTH ASIA
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 11 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airlines (MAS) today announced
"enticing fares" for travel from Malaysia to 10 European and North Asian
destinations for 14 days, beginning tomorrow until Nov 25, via its own
distribution channels and travel agents in Malaysia.
In a statement Friday, the national carrier said it is offering First,
Business and Economy class fares for this promotion through
www.malaysiaairlines.com, Malaysia Airlines Facebook, ticket offices and its
Call Centre for travel from Nov 12 to Dec 31, 2011.
MAS said the destinations covered by this 50-day travel period include
London, Paris, Amsterdam and Rome in Europe as well as Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul and
Taipei, with return Economy class fares starting from as low as RM3,011 for
Amsterdam, RM3,188 to Paris and RM2,699 to Tokyo and Osaka.
First and Business class fares are equally irresistible with return Business
Class fares starting at RM11,999 to Paris and return First Class fares starting
at RM22,222 to Amsterdam.
All fares include taxes and surcharges.
"With the strengthening of the Ringgit against the currencies in Europe and
North Asia, this is a timely opportunity for holiday seekers and corporate
travellers to plan their trips now to destinations in MAS’ European and North
Asian network," it said.
The airline is also offering these attractive promotional fares to encourage
travellers to book and pay for their non-stop flights from Malaysia and enjoy
full in-flight service at no extra cost during their travel.
As these offers are only for travel until Dec 31, 2011, MAS advises
customers to plan their travel now and purchase their tickets early as these
offers are expected to be taken up fast.
No extra charge applies for customers who commence their travels from Penang
and Johor Baharu, while a 50 per cent rebate off the published fares is offered
on flights from other parts of Malaysia to Kuala Lumpur International Airport to
connect with the international journeys.
