Two-Day Batik Exhibition, Beginning Nov 12

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 12 (Bernama) -- A two-day batik exhibition themed, 'Batik Week', beginning Saturday, will be held at the Bukit Bintang monorail station. It is jointly organised by RapidKL Monorail and the information communication and culture ministry. RapidKL chief operations officer Abdul Hadi Amran said the public could buy batik at special prices in the evening during the two-day event. He said the batik exhibition was held following the success of Traditional Music Week, two weeks ago, under the arts appreciation campaign. -- BERNAMA
